There are so many unwanted animals out there , I just don't want one of my precious babies to become one of them. This is a long term commitment maybe 15-20 or more years . Kittens are always adorable , will you love it as much when it's a grown cat ? This is also an inside cat , can you cope with having a litterbox in your home on a permanent basis ? Are you anticipating any changes that might make it impossible to keep your kitten? A possible move, a new baby ? Please, If you have small children, take the time to teach them to be gentle with these baby kittens . I have seen little kittens carried by their head in an attempt to be loved by a innocent 2 year old. Ragdolls are very laid back and forgiving ,and will sometimes take more abuse than they should. Hello,
I would like to thank "everyone" for stopping by to check out our cattery. We are very proud and love to show off our Barbidolz cats and kittens. We work very hard to ensure each and every kitten feels special and loved. They are held, crooned and sung to, and kissed from the minute they come into the world. It gives me no greater pleasure than to place one of our special babies in a new parents arms and see the look on their face, and sometimes the tears of joy in their eyes. This makes all the work, sleepless nights, endless scooping and scrubbing ,and parting with loved babies SO worth while... Especially the grieving ones who come to get a kitten to fill in for a much loved cat that has died. There have been times I cried with them.. " remember Sylvia " ? No one can heal your grieving heart like these little furry bundles of love.
You might think this strange but when I have babies ready to leave here, I pray for God to send me "special" loving parents for them. I SINCERELY believe he does. I can't tell you how many times people have told me with tears streaming down their face ... "this kitten was "born" at the same time as mine died" Coincidence ? maybe ... Or .. This kitten was born on our anniversary!! . Or My Birthday .. OR love at first sight between a baby and new parents, almost like they already knew each other. SO many coincidences ?? *smile* I believe in FATE not coincidence !! How about you ?
So far I feel my babies have gone to some of the nicest people I have ever met. A lot of them remain friends long after they get their baby.. I LOVE that !! It feels like one BIG happy family to me, that's why I like to keep posting updated pictures of the kittens. A lot of the parents like to watch the siblings of their baby grow as well. I ALWAYS get so excited when someone sends me a "updated" Picture of "one of the Barbidolz Kids". I want "ALL OF YOU" who have adopted one of our babies to feel this is YOUR virtual home too. Come often and find out what's going on. I would love to add anything any of you have pertaining to our babies. Get involved in "OUR" site.. Poems, pictures, tips .. anything of relevance is welcome.. ( especially those new pictures) :)
Every new litter I can look forward to at least one NEW friend among the parents... What a great bonus !! There are a couple of you ..( and you know who you are) * Grin* Who email on a regular basis and even visit, to see the cats and new kittens... I love these people like family! I screen everyone as carefully as possible, to feel in my heart they will give these precious little things the home and love they trust will be given to them. I take this venture VERY seriously so IF you have been chosen, be assured I think your a special person. I feel VERY responsible for being sure these kittens I have brought into the world be forever happy and loved. If they don't then I have let them down and that would "break my heart" :(
And our breeders... Well that's just a "word" cattery's use for the super wonderful mommy's and daddy's here at Barbidolz. They are each and every one very much an individual, and are loved as such. Many of them will live here forever . And the others , when their breeding days are over I hand pick "extra special people" ,who are close enough for me to still visit my beloved pets. I WISH I could keep them ALL !! They NEVER leave my heart or thoughts. Guess I'm feeling a little on the soft and mushy side tonight but that's what my cats and kittens do to me , they melt my heart. :) This is "truly" a labor of LOVE !! (It surly isn't to make money.:) I call it my "Non profit organization" ...LOL Again THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Barb

MY ragbabies are raised in my home, with lots of love and attention. They are our "kids".
We breed on a small scale as a hobby. I actually breed to help support our kitty family. If I didn't sell some kittens I wouldn't be able to have all my cats and I really enjoy them . This is a extremely expensive hobby. I know it looks like There should be money to be made, but If you check with anyone that raises kittens, they will tell you you would be "VERY" lucky to break even, I DON'T . If your thinking of breeding, I urge you to think carefully and talk to other breeders first. Once your in, you can't get out without a broken heart, having to part with all your breeders. My breeders are actually just my pets helping us to support them. There are expenses you never thought of, and non stop work and cleaning and lots of tears. I don't sell breeders , ( which is where the money is) I don't have the heart for it. I am so particular where they go, and that they are in a FOREVER home I can't do it. Breeders kittens sell for twice the price of pets , but for me even though I could really use the money, It's not about money to me . My Kittens come first, It isn't worth the worry. I wouldn't sleep at night worrying If my kids were getting overbred or caged or whatever.
Most breeders are just a caring about their cats and kittens as I am but I can't take the chance I might find that "one" that is in it only for the money and might not be a good home. AND a breeder home is only temporary as they are usuall petted out after a few years.

I pay for the Spay/ Neutering, Their vet check, worming, age appropriate vaccinations and advantage monthly plus their Rabies shot. This saves you a "lot of money" , worry and time. Others may sell them cheaper, but then you have all this expense, plus taking the risk when they are altered and the worst part watching them suffer through it. When you get your baby at Barbidolz ,you don't have to go to the trouble and expense of all this , you can just "ENJOY" !!!
I do not ship ,but.. I will meet you part way for a small fee to pay for gas. If your not local you may find there isn't much difference in the price between shipping them cargo and coming after them by air and taking them home in the cabin with you . I have done that myself I really enjoyed it !

These twins ( girl and boy ) are beyond description. They have had 7 months of Barbidolz socialzing and are such lovebugs.
They are super healthy sweet and everything a Ragdoll should be. Because of the economy thay have not sold ( first time this ever happened) I am willing to work with you on them if you are interested ,I have way to many cats here right now and they need their own forever homes . though I must admit It is going to kill me to see them go ... please give them their very own forever home and people!

You "Bought" me today , you bought "rights" to my whole life, the "only" one "I" will ever have. You decide what I eat, where I sleep, If I am warm or cold. I am at your mercy. Should you have a bad day, and just decide to throw me against the wall, or kick me from your path, I am your "property" and I can do nothing, but take it. I whimper and wonder in fear and sadness, What did I do ? why don't you love me anymore ? I have been a good and faithful kitty.. "You are all I have", through no choice of my own. When you ignore or neglect me , or heaven forbid abuse me, I have literally nothing to live for. " You are my world." Please don't let the kids or dog hurt me and torment me, as you sit in your chair and pretend not to notice. Can't you hear me crying to you ? "Mom , Dad, Help me please !" "Remember", I can think and feel just as a human child can. You wouldn't think of ignoring your child's cry for help. Sometimes I might get sick ," just like your human babies". Also like your human babies, I can't go to the doctor myself or get myself some medicine, I depend on you , "please take care of me".
To me "you" are the only mom and Dad I can remember, I trust you with my life literally. Please don't let me down!! " My life " may seem unimportant to humans but, Its the only one "I" have. It's the only chance "I" have to know what it feels like to be loved or spoiled.. I will reward you greatly for your acts of kindness, for they overjoy me.
When I get old and tired and sore, and I can't amuse you with my kitten antics anymore, please understand "I still love you", and want your tender caresses and soothing words more than ever . It's scary to get old , please don't let me do it alone, and unloved and ignored... Don't pass me on to someone else after I have grown to love you ,and replace me with a new little kitten, with the same future fate as my own. . And PLEASE never send me to a shelter, to live in fear, and morn for you ,my master, who has deserted me in my old age. To watch and wait for you, hoping to hear your voice . As each new person walks by my cage they say.." That ones too old", Then run to play with a kitten across the room. To wait for that day I know is coming, when they shave my paw and stick a needle in with no more feeling than to cut an orange.. " Its only "a old cat" they must think, How can they do such a grizzly thing ? Don't they know I am still capable of feeling and giving love ?
I want to beg for my life, and say love me "please, don't do this, I am a very sweet kitty."
But I barely flinch as I feel the injection, pulling me under to a unknown destination..
When you lay me in the ground, after I have given my "life" to only you , I hope you have no regrets ,or feel guilty for what you "should" or "shouldn't have done.. May you be proud and know ,We loved each other to infinity , and we gave each other many years of happiness and unending love.

UPDATE ... Beau has adjusted very well to his new home and is VERY loved by his whole family.

Due to the age of my last two kittens I am reducing their price to $275 each. I would really like them to go to their forever homes while they are still young enough for a easy transition. (save $480 each) .
I will take off another $50 from" total" If you take them together, they are very bonded and adorable together, you won't regret it! BUT they are also confident enough to go seterate if thats your choice.They are now confident enough so I feel they will do great seperately also. Both are extremely clean and loving. I have had several studs who have beeh adoped after breeding and not one of them was a problem.. All have adjusted nicely to their pet home. If they do not work out for some reason, they always have a home with us. We love them dearly and if we could afford it they would POSITIVELY be staying right here.
In the coming months Barbidolz will be closing. Retired breeders
will be available at reduced prices.

This will be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, so I am going slowly and taking care to find "special" homes. I would like to hear from anyone who might be intersted and from them I will choose the best match for their personalities. I would like older couples without children or other pets. I would like to keep them in the kind of home they are used to. ( except for other cats)

Want a FREE Kitty ? I have a stray that has been here a couple years now and his family sold out and left him so he is orphaned . He wants SO bad to have a family. He tries to come in every time we go outside. He sits looking in the glass door with big sad eyes like he just doesn't understand how these cats have it so good and he has nothing ! We are feeding him but we can't take him inside because of the cattery, and I just can't part with one of my beloved breeders and take in a stray. He lets us pat him and I know with a little love he would be a good buddy. He is big and sad looking. He is dirty and scarred up and his ears have been frostbit. I hate to see him outside another winter. He is yellow and white short haired and I will add his picture soon... PLEASE RESCUE HOBO !! At the shelter he wouldn't be free !
